Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

North Winds Heating & Cooling proudly serves the Greater Lansing area with a complete range of heating and cooling services. We treat our customers like family! Currently we are in search of an outgoing, detail oriented, customer focused Customer Service Representative/Dispatcherto join our team!

Primary Job Function: To schedule sales appointments and assist with maintaining Service Technician's daily schedules. Help to schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. To schedule sales appointments and assist sales personnel in closing jobs. Assist with maintaining the service technicians schedules. Aid in maintaining customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Includes outbound calling clients to maintain a complete schedule.

Work Hours: 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Pay Scale: Starting at $18.00/hr

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years relevant work experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
• Proficient Customer Service skills
• Highly proficient computer skills
• Excellent verbal skills
• Professional phone skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Working Knowledge of GPS and mapping software
• Well organized and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of HVAC industry
• 1+ years HVAC Dispatcher experience
• 6 months+ Dispatching experience
• Advanced level knowledge of software technologies, such as iOS, Android and Windows OS.
