You would be responsible for handling any and all customer delivery and service/warranty inquiries, issues, or complaints. You will be asked to work warranty cases through our Zendesk platform, as well as answer phone calls regarding a variety of inquiries in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will also be responsible for using our newly implemented PackageAi system to help you with active communication between the guests and the delivery drivers to make us proactive in our mission to provide the best Customer Service. A successful Customer Service team impacts Home Zone's mission to provide the best value and service in the furniture industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Show up on time with regular and reliable attendance. • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude always towards our guests and co-workers. • Operate our phone system to accept calls and cases. • Effectively communicate and coordinate with guests and co-workers through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and live chats.
- Respond promptly to guests' inquiries while acknowledging and effectively resolving customer issues and complaints • Track deliveries throughout the day via the PackageAi program and follow up with customers to ensure their delivery went well and they are 100% satisfied. • Process service orders/exchanges and reschedule deliveries accurately.
- Communicate with our repair shop to discuss and solve repair issues as well as order any parts needed through the Parts Manager. • Document key information clearly on a guest’s account regarding records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Customer Service and/or a call center is welcomed • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must be Customer Service oriented (empathetic, responsive, and patient.) • The ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations where guests may be upset or stressed. • Strong computer skills • Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately • The ability to multi-task while paying great attention to detail • The ability to adapt and remain focused in an active and changing environment • The ability to take and consider constructive criticism in a professional manner
- Reliable transportation to and from work • Must be able to pass a background check • Must be able to sit at a desk for an extended period of time
