As we look to the future, we are seeking bright, enthusiastic people to join our team. We currently have an opening for a Customer Service Representative in our Pequannock, New Jersey office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate with strong Customer Service skills who is computer savvy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to customer calls, emails and faxes efficiently, effectively, and promptly.
- Timely and accurate processing of customer orders for Retail and Wholesale Customers
- Generating of invoices for customers.
- Must have experience processing EDI orders and with EDI portals.
- Processing of international orders including completion of all required documentation for export orders including, but not limited to, proforma and commercial invoices.
- Communicate and follow up with customers and Sales as to the status of orders placed and shipped.
- Coordinate all export transactions with international customers, 3PL warehouse, freight forwarders, overseas agents and internal operational staff as needed.
- Process debits, credits and return authorizations.
- Resolve any customer concerns and issues while documenting complaints in a database.
- Handle customer shortage/overage claims with our 3PL warehouse and customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required.
- Overtime will be required during peak periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a product, not service, related business within the manufacturing industry is preferred. Experience exclusively in call center environments is not applicable to this position.
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Experienced in MS Office programs (Excel, Office, and Word) and an ability to learn and master our proprietary order processing system.
- An energetic and positive attitude with the ability to multi-task are essential.
- Working knowledge of Export operations and international Customer Service experience desired.
This job requires the candidate to be in the office full time.
