*This is an hourly ($15-$20/hr) part-time work opportunity*
We are seeking motivated and energetic candidates to join our telecom provider as a Customer Service Representative aka Community Ambassador & Enrollment Representative. As an ambassador, you will play a crucial role in helping to bring affordable and accessible technology to marginalized communities within your area. This role aligns well with college students as it is flexible and you can create your own schedule, full or part time, but it is not limited to college students.
The Community Ambassador is responsible for onboarding customers through community outreach using Digital Aid’s products and services. The community ambassador is responsible for coordinating and executing these special events. This includes communicating with managers to receive and implement Digital Aid products with the ability to create your own schedule and work as desired. Proven ambassadors may have the ability to assume leadership advancement as a manager with increased pay who oversees 10-20 ambassadors.
Requirements
Specific Responsibilities
- Search and accept job sites on Digital Aid’s online portal based on your schedule
- Digital Aid management will coordinate logistics and inventory procurement at arrival and departure
- Perform event-related tasks, including but not limited to signing up customers, onboarding customers, and processing payments electronically for Digital Aid products
- Make customers feel welcomed and comfortable at each event
- Have a general understanding of Digital Aid’s mission, including our products and services
- Drive within your city, county and adjacent counties
Schedule & Time Requirements
- Digital Aid will electronically post weekly opportunities for ambassadors to work, expect to work roughly 10-25 hours/week with opportunities to grow
- Ambassador will have full autonomy on which shift they choose to work
- Once a shift is chosen by the ambassador, they will be fully expected to work their shift. A missed shift may result in termination.
Qualifications & Experience
- High moral and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration with the Digital Aid team
- Confident and independent; able to manage events with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift ~30lbs at a time
Benefits
Pay is $15-20 / hr DOE.
