SalaryJob Description:
- Resolves administrative challenges by researching options and utilizing resources independently.
- Provide information regarding emissions testing to customers and state partners by answering questions and requests both in person and via phone.
- Receives and directs visitors including applicants for employment, vendors, state partners and customers.
- Completes Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) verifications for customers needing the service.
- Maintains a clean and appropriately stocked station; manages supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all customer areas including, front office spaces, customer restroom, and customer booths.
- Assists Station Management with operational requirements including operational reporting, sending documents to appropriate departments, acting as the liaison between the station and Headquarters in addition to other administrative projects; and expediting work as directed.
- Facilitate check-in and check-out of all cashiers including accounting for all money collected on a daily basis.
- Collects and distributes vehicle damage claim paperwork on an as needed basis.
- Utilize a variety of tools to assist in the completion of daily tasks including email, phone, PC, company forms, electronic databases, online ordering systems, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Customer service background is preferred
- Excellent organization skills with keen attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate politely with the general public
- Frequent standing
- Outlook, Word, Excel experience
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time working with computers
- Be able to occasionally travel outside the office and be exposed to the weather in order to access and transcribe vehicle VINs
- Be able to interact and maneuver around an office environment
