Job description
SYL Roofing Supply is looking for a Customer Service Representative. This person will provide product knowledge and great Customer Service. Providing information and resolving any issues or concerns that our customer accounts may face. We are looking for someone who is passionate and excited to provide great Customer Service, can be patient, empathetic, and work with accuracy and efficiency. Here at SYL Roofing Supply, we put ourselves in our customer's shoes and advocate for them. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
- Processing orders and transactions.
- Answering questions about a company’s products and services.
- Providing proactive customer outreach.
- Handling customer complaints and requests.
- Collecting and analyzing customer feedback
- Ability to answer a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls and /or emails daily.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keep records of customers, and file documents.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Stay updated on product knowledge.
- Create lasting relationships with customers.
- Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products or services.
- Determining the quickest most effective ways to answer a customer’s questions
- Staying current on the latest industry trends and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interpersonal and Customer Service skills.

- Multitasking and organizational skills.
- Written and verbal communication skill
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience (Preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be TEAM-oriented.
- Must be competent with popular computer programs (internet, email, google drive, and Microsoft Software)
- BI-LINGUAL IS PREFERRED (English/Spanish)
- Phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
