Position Title:Customer Service Representative

Position Summary
Enthusiastically provides excellent Customer Service, projects the company’s professional image and maintains strong business relationships with inside and outside customers. Assists customers with new and existing orders, communicates information on new products, product technical applications and sends product literature. Courteously and promptly resolves customer questions and issues or properly refers them to appropriate associates.
Principle Responsibilities
· Receives customer orders by phone, fax, and email and then processes the orders into the JDE system.
· Registers new and current customers to E-Business system based on customer desire.
· Verifies pricing, discounts, billing and shipping addresses, credit status, and informs customers of any issues.
· Notifies customers of product backorders and anticipated availability.
· Coordinates customer credit and return issues with appropriate finance associates.
· Coordinates unique customer orders and shipment requirements to the appropriate materials management associates.
· Work with other associates to respond to customer literature and miscellaneous requests.
· Maintain a minimum line count comparable to others in the department and certain level of productivity.
· Researches and resolves customer questions, requests, and problems politely, promptly and courteously.
· Keeps customers informed of Company policies, procedures, and status of their orders and accounts. Assists other employees as needed.
· Maintains strong technical knowledge of PCS and competitive products including pricing, application, PCS part numbers and competitor part number cross referencing.
· Processes standard mold base quotes and orders utilizing the configurator software.
· Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
· Completes special projects as assigned.
· Cross training as required by management.
· Assists and supports area personnel as needed.

Education
Associate Degree preferred.
Work Experience
One to two years of equivalent experience
