Customer Service Representative

The Northbrook Park District is seeking a welcoming Customer Service Representative to work the front desk and fitness desk at our recreation and fitness facility, Techny Prairie Activity Center. Customer Service Representatives are often the first point of contact for our members and are expected to provide the highest quality of Customer Service.

Wage & Shift Information

$15.00+ depending on experience

10 - 20 hours per week. All shifts are available (weekend shifts available), shifts will vary based on the need of the district.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Check-in fitness members and guests
• Process registration and membership transactions and answer questions and concerns
• Provide administrative and program support while actively promoting membership and seeking to increase membership sales

A high school degree or equivalent and experience working in an environment requiring the ability to multi-task. Must possess excellent skills in Customer Service, general office practices and computers (Microsoft Office) and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Needs to be able to perform basic math to reconcile cash drawers. Must have a CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain within three (3) month of hire. Must possess knowledge of software applications, such as program registration software.
