Customer Service Representative - Home Medical Equipment

We are continuously growing, and seeking Entry Level Customer Service Representatives as we service a wide variety of patients in the greater Chicago area, southern Wisconsin, and northern Indiana. The ideal candidate for this position needs to be self-motivated, knowledgeable of Google and Microsoft products, and have a history of providing unmatched Customer Service. You will be joining a small, but growing, team consisting of customers service, sales, billing, and delivery specialists. Compensation includes hourly pay, 2 weeks of paid personal time off, paid time off for Federal Holidays, occasional overtime opportunities, and company sponsored medical, vision and dental coverage.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Develops and maintains working knowledge of current Home Medical Equipment products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement
• Verify insurance benefits for both in-network and out-of-network policies

• Obtain and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations

• Bill Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies for services rendered using applicable HCPCS codes.
• Complies with all current government/state regulations and professional standards involving patient care and information intake, as well as all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
• Assists in collecting necessary billing documents for Prior Authorizations and equipment rentals.
• Ensures courteous and efficient service is provided to patients and referrals
• Performs other duties as required

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong Customer Service background
• Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products
• Independent and motivated learner
• Ability to type 40 WPM and perform typical office functions

Education/Experience

• Fluent in Spanish (Required)
• 1-2 Years of experience in Customer Service roles

• High School Diploma (Required)

Employment is contingent upon drug screening and clean history

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
