QE is an innovative manufacturer of exterior building products with three locations (MI, GA & TX) and we are seeking a professional Customer Service Representative. The perfect candidate will focus on our customer, provide a high level of service, and support the sales team to help grow their territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Talking with customers to take orders, answer questions or provide product information.
- Accurately enter & process orders and product returns.
- Research open & past orders, including carrier tracking.
- Handling custom product entry and quoting.
- Developing relationships with customers in designated territory.
- Answering technical questions and inform customers about our products.
- Utilizing JD Edwards MRP system for product information and order entry.
- Prioritizing workload independently to effectively and efficiently complete work.
- Working with planning and shipping to ensure the best service to the customer.
- Resolve questions and service issues for customers.
- Assisting the sales representatives.
- Promoting special pricing or products during monthly specials.
Required Skills:
- At least 2-3 years technical or product-based Customer Service experience, and an Associate’s degree preferred.
- The ability to WOW our customers through service, detail and delivery.
- Effective communication skills including verbal (in person & over the phone) and written (email & handwritten notes).
- High competency with technology – Microsoft programs and CRM.
- Extremely accurate and detail oriented.
- Able to learn and retain details of product knowledge.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- JD Edwards &/or Salesforce experience a plus. EDI knowledge helpful.
- Building products knowledge helpful.
This is an in office/in seat position with high volume phone contact. Wage commensurate with experience.
