The Role:
Performs a wide variety of non-routine and unique Customer Service inquiries requiring minimal guidance and direction. Responsible for improving customer relations by providing professional product knowledge and service, through interpersonal and telephone skills, in an accurate and detailed manner.

Responsibilities:
- Handle daily phone calls and emails, from internal and external customers for spare parts inquiries.
- Follows up on sensitive and complicated Customer Service calls requiring tact and ability to research and resolve concerns in a timely status, typically within one day.
- Create and process Sale Orders in Microsoft Axapta ERP system.
- Work with European suppliers and update customers with status changes for their orders that may impact expected and requested delivery dates as necessary.
- Discuss use and features of various parts, based on technical knowledge of machines or equipment.
- Monitor back orders are released in a timely manner.
- Issues return authorizations and do follow up calls concerning Customer Service concerns.
- Other Part Sales department tasks and assignments as directed by department manager.
- Will provide after-hours phone support on a weekly rotating basis.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Job Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), some college level related training is helpful.
- 2 or more years of experience in Customer Service-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills better than average in Word, Excel, etc.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills in handling stressful and varied Customer Service concerns in a professional manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in reviewing mechanical or electrical diagrams/drawings
- Manufacturing background
- Knowledge of basic machinery operation is required.
- Ability to work on-site, full-time, Monday – Friday.
Preferred:
- Microsoft Axapta ERP system experience
- Bilingual Spanish or Italian

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
