Salary- Job Summary: Responsible for timely and accurate processing of customer orders to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
- Essential Functions:
- * Answer company phone lines
- * Greet visitors/guests
- * Take customer orders by phone, fax, e-mail, or mail
- * Create customer order Invoicing
- * Process orders by comparing customer requirements to current inventory levels
- * Recommend and/or assist customer with alternate material purchase
- * Advise customer if requested product is unavailable and provide anticipated delivery date and applicable pricing
- * Work in conjunction with credit department to resolve any outstanding payments
- * Maintain customer files
- * Ensure customer data base is up-to-date
- * Scan all associated customer order paperwork into system
- * Direct customer complaints and/or questions to appropriate staff member
- * Provide clerical and administrative support to Executive Management staff, as required
- * Provide clerical support to sales staff; quotes, letters, in conjunction with customer orders
- * Schedule delivery and/or pick-up dates
- * Interface and act as back-up to scheduling daily trips for company drivers
- * Interface with purchasing department regarding inventory and third-party shipments
- * Interface with quality department for any special customer requirements
- Minor Functions:
- * Maintain general office supplies and purchase product, as required
- * Ensure maintenance of office equipment; place service calls, as needed
- * Direct general telephone inquiries to the respective party
- * Assist with daily mail distribution, as needed
- * Accept office deliveries and provide notification to appropriate party, upon receipt
- *Pay is commensurate with experience
