Seasonal Customer Service Representative - Orleans, Ma

Overview Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Orleans has an opening for a Seasonal Customer Service Representative. This is a temporary/Seasonal role for a maximum of 150 days during our seasonal months of May 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024. This is a great opportunity to work with a fantastic team with a well-known and highly regarded company. The responsibilities include providing a high level of Customer Service by assisting both internal and external customers, primarily face-to-face, and supporting their rental needs. The CSR will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, customer assistance, and act as a rental back-up in a busy home city rental branch. The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00 / hour.  The required schedule is Monday thru Friday from 9am-6pm with a 1 hour lunch each day. This branch office is located at 25 Canal Rd, Orleans, MA 02653.   Responsibilities Take incoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendorsManage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs and miscellaneous calls as assignedProvide a high level of Customer Service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phoneMeet and greet customers in a friendly and timely mannerProvide directions and general assistanceAssist to assess condition of rental upon returnProcess returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactionsEffectively market the company while picking up customers up and/or dropping off customer in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as neededUnderstand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services  May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipmentResponsible for notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when neededPerform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billingPerform miscellaneous and job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications  Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have a High School Diploma or GEDMust have at least 6 months of prior Customer Service experienceMust have a valid US driver's license Must have no more than 2 at-fault accident or moving violation within the past 3 years Must have no drug or alcohol related convictions within the past 5 yearsMust have a basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office productsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be able to work a temporary/seasonal role for a maximum of 150 days during our seasonal dates of May 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024Apart from religious observation, must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 9am-6pm
