Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Line Cook to join our team at our restaurant in Dillingham, AK. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. The Line Cook will be responsible for prepping and cooking food according to the restaurant's recipes and portion control standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant
- Clean and maintain workstations and kitchen equipment
- Prepping and stocking ingredients for daily use
- Keep up-to-date inventory records and assist in ordering supplies - Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Follow directions from the head chef and take guidance from other kitchen staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
