Job Description Summary
Performs a variety of clerical duties such as compiling and arranging routine data, making standard computations, processing documents, maintaining records and files, etc. All work follows generally prescribed routines, with supervision being readily available.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Enter new and/or maintain account information into customer list.
· Process new and existing customer orders or releases, proforma invoices, manual ASN, Nafta Certs, Customer Packet Information, Routing Guides, etc.
· Expedites and tracks orders for customers.
· Generate correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes.
· Answer customer sales calls.
· Serve as liaison with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, accounting and shipping personnel.
· Check purchase order for correct pricing and delivery, contacts customer when needed.
· Check all purchase orders to ensure accuracy upon entry.
· Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders.
· Assist in maintaining and monitoring Electronic Data Interchange for established customers.
· Maintain assigned account work.
· Perform duties related to customer portals.
· Maintains customer delivery performance reports
· Follow all Customer Service procedures.
· General housekeeping duties to be performed i.e. filing, faxing, copying etc.
· Informing the appropriate management staff of all noteworthy activities that take place.
· Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.

· Must be able to multi-task and establish priorities, maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards assignments, and maintain level of organization in a changing and fast paced environment.
· Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal and be able to comprehend an extensive variety of instructions, both oral and written.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
· Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
· Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
· Operate telephone, copier, fax machines, and other general office equipment.
Education and Training
· High school or GED equivalent.
· Six months related experience and/or training.
