- Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Extended Shift (Includes remote work on Saturdays):
- Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, home-based, focusing on email and chat support

What You Will Do
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle 75+ inbound calls daily and route them to the appropriate teams
- Engage with customers via chat, email, and fax ensuring a high level of proficiency
- Delve into customer queries: pricing, inventory, delivery status, and manage returns or exchanges
- Offer special product promotions to customers when available
- Adhere to and apply industry regulations during customer interactions
- Collaborate with multiple departments like Accounting, Purchasing, Marketing, and more to address customer needs
- Update and maintain customer information in our database
- Contribute to special projects when assigned
What You Will Need
Education & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a call center or a related Customer Service role
Knowledge & Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency or ability to learn Microsoft Excel and Teams within 60 days
- Familiarity with various web-based programs, expected to master within 60 days
- Competent desktop computer skills, especially multitasking across various screens and programs
- Ability to type at speeds of 45+ words per minute
- Basic familiarity with Brownells products and website would be advantageous
Remote Technical/Broadband Requirements (if working the extended shift involving Saturdays)
- Minimum 3Mbps download, 1.5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
- Preferred 10Mbps download, 5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
Physical Demands
Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
