Position Overview:
As a Customer Service and Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for veterinary customers, providing exceptional Customer Service and support while driving sales growth and promoting our product lines. With a focus on building strong relationships and delivering personalized solutions, you will manage customer interactions, share promotions, grow product lines, enter orders, and perform other sales and administrative tasks as assigned. This position is open for hybrid (Oldsmar, FL) or remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interactions: Serve as the main point of contact for veterinary clinics, responding promptly to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing any issues or concerns to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Sales Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to promote and upsell our product lines within veterinary clinics, leveraging promotional offers, cross-selling opportunities, and product knowledge to drive sales growth.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product lines, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate value propositions and address customer needs and preferences.
- Promotional Outreach: Share information about promotions, discounts, and special offers with veterinary clinics to drive awareness and encourage purchasing of our products.
- Order Management: Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct product, labels, and quantities are processed and shipped.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with veterinary clinic contacts, including veterinarians, practice managers, and purchasing staff, to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage company inboxes requesting information, submissions of product inquiries, and order submissions.
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, and maintaining customer records, marketing promotional ideas, processing samples, and more to support efficient business operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); RVT or other veterinary clinic experience preferred.
- Proven experience in veterinary clinics, Customer Service, sales, or inside sales roles, preferably in animal health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving sales growth.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; experience with order management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of the veterinary industry.
