Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be a part of a professional, customer-oriented team in the Service department located in Billerica. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in a conversational manner. The CSR must be able to remain calm, cool and collected in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position works closely with other team members, customers, technicians, management and other departments within Teledyne FLIR.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming internal and external customer inquiries via both email and phone
- Process customer requests and information timely and efficiently to provide spare parts quotations
- Process purchase orders, government contracts and credit cards while paying attention to customer, payment and contractual terms
- Prepare shipping documents
- Work closely with technicians and peers
- Responsible for gathering and entering customer information for import and export requests for international returns per Global Trade Compliant requirements.
- Vet and screen customers, systems and transactions
- Consistently follow applicable International Traffic in Arms ( ITAR) and Commerce regulations
- Help to manage and reduce the spare parts backlog
- Perform additional related duties as required
Job Qualifications:
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred but not required
- A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP
- Strong work ethic, analytical, creative, independent yet also a team player
- Able to execute and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Good organization and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and quickly navigate multiple systems
