Customer Service Representative

SOUTHWIND BUILDING PRODCUTS has an immediate opening for a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.

The Customer Service Representative will take customer orders and answer customer inquiries in compliance with established Company standards and procedures

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phone calls from customers
• Take orders (approximately 40 – 80 per day) and key into AS400 system using computer
• Works closely with the salesforce and various departments
• Reviews daily order status report for follow-up
• Process customer mailings by folding letters and placing into envelopes
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
• Works with minimal level of supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the Customer Service Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/ OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent attendance is required
• Strong communication skills
