Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

Stone Center of Georgia, an Outdoor Living Supply company located in Durham, GA, is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative. This full-time position is for someone who enjoys providing high quality Customer Service by assessing customers' needs, remaining knowledgeable on products, and working in a team environment. The right candidate will have the ability to process orders and provide support to the Customer Service team when needed. This position offers a competitive hourly wage depending on qualifications and experience, and a full benefits program with PTO and paid holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases and refunds
• Direct customers to the appropriate salesperson
• Answer incoming customer phone calls and assist them over the phone
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers’ needs and provide general assistance
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper Customer Service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers

Minimum Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail Associate & Cashier experience 1 year (preferred)
• POS experience 1 year
• Basic understanding of sales principles and Customer Service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking is a plus
• Basic Math skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with Customer Service focus
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be 18 years of age

Work Environment:

This position works in a retail storefront that sells landscape materials to contractors and homeowners.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time

Schedule: Day shift 40 hours per week including Saturdays
