Starting wage for the Warehouse Counter Customer Service Representative is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Cancos Tile and Stone LLC. offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.
The Farmingville Warehouse Counter Customer Service Representative is responsible for multiple aspects of Customer Service, operations, and logistics. This position is customer facing and will deal with both retail and trade customers. This position will write new orders and returns, process customer pickups, and work closely with the warehouse manager to ensure exceptional Customer Service.
Customer Service
- Process customer pickup requests and communicate with warehouse personnel.
- Write orders and adjust existing orders for customers.
- Process customer returns in accordance with company policy
- All customers to be greeting kindly and treated with respect
- Knowledgeable of sundries and setting materials sold by Cancos
- Develop and maintain sales relationships with trade professionals
Logistics
- Communicate with delivery drivers to receive updates on routes.
- Collect delivery paperwork daily
- Update status of orders
- Text or call ahead for next day deliveries
Inventory
- Identify and communicate any inventory issues identified in the normal course of business.
Sample Department
- Assist in order management and order check in for the Sample department.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to carry 40+ pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building products.
- Experience in service or sales position.
