We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate strong and capable leadership qualities with an ability to resolve all types of customer inquiries. Our ideal Customer Service Manager will know how to supervise and mentor other Customer Service representatives by teaching them industry best practices, offering feedback, and establishing measurable KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling janitorial and sanitation products, specifically to VA Hospitals and government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries on a regular basis
- Receive and implement customer feedback to improve the quality of service
- Manage daily progress in meeting important business metrics (KPIs)
- Generate detailed reports on customer, vendor and prime vendor transactions
- Provide additional upselling or learning opportunities for team members
- Hire and train new employees
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service (7-10 years of Customer Service experience)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with management techniques
- Ability to meet and exceed customer needs
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software. (NetSuite preferred)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior military service a plus
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (desired, not required)
