To support our customers, Siemens Mobility Customer Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Project Management Intern to assist with the maintenance and technical support services project for a fleet of our Charger Locomotives and Venture Coaches in Orlando.
You will support the Project Management team in the organization of the project from an overall perspective with a focus on Project Management processes, tools, and methods. In full assistance to the team, you will also collaborate with our Maintenance Manager and Technical Trainer to deliver exceptional Customer Service!
- Work with Project Managers and Engineers to learn how we manage and plan our projects and technology implementation through shadowing and assigning relevant tasks to build up your practical knowledge.
- Gain insight into Project Management essentials related to financial, scope, schedule, risk, and resource management activities.
- Create, review, update, and organize/store/archive documents.
- Support with internal/external project reporting via MS Excel/Tableau/Power BI
- Assist with new hire assimilation into the overall team.
- Ensure consistent communication with the customer.
- High School diploma or GED; Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Previous internship or relevant school projects
- A good understanding of problem-solving, digitalization, and automation
- The ability to produce comprehensive reports and overviews
- Superb presentation skills surrounding technical concepts

- Resourcefulness
- Availability to work 20-40 hours/week in our Orlando facility
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- An interest in learning about the rail industry - Project Management, Customer Service operations, manufacturing, etc.
