Position Description – the position is located at Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation’s regional logistics center in Dallas, Texas.
Job responsibilities may include:
- create export bookings
- communicate with shippers, freight forwarders, and other offices regarding bookings
- quote rates and track cargo
- provide quality Customer Service to accounts
- create container load lists
- coordinate change of destination requests with related parties
- read and respond to e-mails in a timely manner
Qualifications – candidates applying for positions with Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. Candidates must possess strong computer, verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. While no experience is required, knowledge of or an interest in international business/logistics/supply-chain is a plus.
Compensation/Benefits – the starting salary level range is $39,600 to $49,000.
