Bode Equipment Company is a turn-key distributor of material handling systems, construction, and loading dock/door solutions. Since 1975, we have offered design, layout, sales, installation, and service. Over the years, we have increased our installation and service capabilities throughout New England. This is one of the many unique capabilities of our firm while others use subcontractors.

Headquartered in Londonderry, NH and having a branch location in Marlborough, Massachusetts, we are well positioned to service our clients throughout the region. Our NH office is focused on serving our New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont clients. Our MA office is focused on serving our Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island clients. Both of our locations have sales and service personnel, and everyone is cross trained to ensure that our clients receive the best service possible.

Summary:

We are currently seeking an individual with sales and Customer Service experience to work in our Londonderry, NH office full-time in a sales support role. This is an internal position assisting sales with office functions, order acknowledgement, and responding to customers’ requests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer's orders from purchase order receipt to delivery and invoicing, which includes data entry into Bode's ERP system
  • Maintains a high level of internal Customer Service by assisting the sales team and submitting professional quotes as needed.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and service excellence in terms of order treatment and follow-up
  • Responsible for the internal coordination and follow-up of customer requests and issues
  • Maintains contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to develop other sales opportunities.
  • Successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals established by the department manager.
  • Projecting a “Can-Do” attitude and consistently providing exceptional Customer Service.
  • Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Interpreting customer requirements and negotiating pricing, Service and delivery.
  • Remaining current with product knowledge
  • Answering Incoming phone call and directing to the proper department
  • Other duties/projects as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent phone presence with exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Pleasant and professional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team
  • Very organized, detail oriented, and comfortable with multi-tasking
  • An overall sense of urgency to get the job done
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP System preferred
