Job description

The Customer Development Account Representative (CDAR) for Retail Sales is responsible for executing a selling strategy in PBNA’s North Divisions “Own The Streets” segment in assigned territories across the Market. The Pennsylvania market consists of 11 locations that span across greater Pennsylvania. The CDAR role is responsible for selling and growing the full PBC product portfolio to customers who are in the Own the Streets business segment. CDARs are to utilize local data and research to develop customer opportunity lists in order to achieve revenue targets while cultivating strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods
  • Focusing on securing "More Space, Better Space & White Space" with all accounts
  • Ensure accurate handling of the administration of field communication, pricing accuracy, and short pay management
  • Utilize key selling processes (internal PEPSI way to sell, Pre/Post Call Planning, Profit Max)
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Ensure customers are complying with PBNA contract requirements, ensure communication and alignment of initiatives
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Analyze business trends to develop a business growth strategy
  • Maintains wiring to the new account
  • New Account Handoff: Coach PSRs & CRs on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Establish contract agreement and Executional Framework objectives in targeted new accounts, achieving volume and revenue targets through a mix of products and points of distributio
  • Assumes and/or retains advantage position placements in targeted accounts
  • Assures merchandising standards are executed in all accounts
  • Follow safe work practices (vehicle accidents, injuries)
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,400 - $92,650 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Must have 2+ years of fact-based selling
  • Consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support systems
  • Lifting: Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs periodically
