Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Comfort Monster is searching for a new hire with excellent customer service skills, able to surprise and delight every customer with the best service experience they have ever had. You will be primarily responsible for placing calls to clients to ensure accurate billing, quality service, and prompt payment.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a call center or receptionist position.
- High school diploma or GED.
- HVAC industry and/or dispatch experience helpful.
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Flexibility to switch tasks mid-stream as needed.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately, with good spelling.
Major Functions:
The CSR is responsible for the following:
- Answering all incoming phone calls promptly, minimizing missed calls, and responding to any voicemails or missed calls as quickly as possible.
- Listening calmly, speaking professionally and warmly, and communicating clearly with clients and technicians.
- Recording details of client concerns and assisting dispatchers in scheduling technicians to respond to service calls, based on technician availability/distance and service call urgency.
- Creating purchase orders for technicians as needed.
- Calling clients to request feedback on the quality of our service.
- Calling clients to inquire about payment status for overdue invoices and processing credit card payments.
- Periodically dispatching after-hours and weekend emergency service (approximately one week out of six), with advance scheduling.
Other Functions:
- Maintaining accurate time records.
- Working as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Consulting with management on ways to improve and standardize processes and customer experiences.
- Performing other business duties if requested by a manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
