Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses. Your expertise in corporate accounting and credit analysis will be crucial in assessing risk and making informed credit decisions. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough credit analysis of potential borrowers to assess their financial stability and creditworthiness - Review financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to gather information for analysis - Analyze financial ratios, cash flow projections, and other financial indicators to evaluate credit risk - Collaborate with internal teams to gather additional information and ensure accuracy of credit assessments - Prepare detailed credit reports summarizing findings and recommendations - Monitor existing accounts to identify potential risks or changes in creditworthiness - Work closely with customers to resolve any credit-related issues or concerns - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit analysis Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Proven experience in credit analysis or a similar role - Strong knowledge of financial concepts and accounting principles - Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on analysis - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Join our team as a Credit Specialist and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional financial services.
