Position Description
Capital Bank is looking for a Credit Dispute Specialist to join our team. The Credit Dispute Specialist responds to Credit Disputes which are received through the e-Oscar portal or in written letters from the consumer.
Position Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to incoming written and indirect (e-Oscar) disputes according to department procedures and by department deadlines
- Identify credit bureau reporting issues and report issues to management
- Validate and update Bank reporting of consumer debt, in e-Oscar and FDR
- Retain evidence of the Credit Dispute investigation, as required by FCRA
- Work effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve operational goals
- Meets productivity standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Time management skills
