Description

This Dispute Specialist position is responsible for researching and resolving customer Credit Card/Debit Card/ATM transaction disputes.

The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 6 hours a day. Start time for this position is between 5:00 am - 10:00 am. Candidate selected for position can discuss start time with the manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Under minimal supervision, researches, responds to and resolves customer inquiries regarding debit card disputes; works with other areas to resolve specific issues.

• Ensures that customer disputes are handled in accordance with applicable regulations including Reg. Z, Reg E and the Mastercard Rules and Regulations.

• Performs miscellaneous clerical tasks, as assigned.

This is a hybrid role located at 295 Huntington Circle, Akron, Ohio

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• 1 or more years financial/banking experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum one year previous Debit Card or Credit Card Fraud or transaction research experience, or equivalent education strongly preferred.

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

• Knowledge of CIS/OBS/Hogan DDA screens, Outlook, ESS, Mastercard, Fiserv preferred.

• Prior Reg E/Reg Z regulatory compliance experience preferred.

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
