Role Overview
As a Disputes Specialist I, you'll play a pivotal role in resolving online and in-person credit/debit and buy-now-pay-later chargebacks and disputes, adhering to established workflows and protocols. This role requires spreadsheet skills, an eye for details, strong analytical skills and the ability to work on your own.
In this role, you will:
- Investigate and resolve disputed transactions, ensuring compliance with processor requiremənts, card network rules, and regulations
- Gather and evaluate data to determine the appropriate course of action, prioritizing accuracy and attention to detail
- Think analytically, logically and make accurate decisions
- Meet critical deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Work independently in a remote environment without direct supervision
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to communicate chargeback trends
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude
- Consistently go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for our customers
We are looking for:
- 1+ years of related experience working with chargebacks
- 1+ years experience working in a remote environment
- Demonstrated spreadsheet skills
- The ability to take direction and follow stringent processes and procedures
- Above average organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Enthusiasm for upholding the company's values, contributing to the team's shared vision and maintaining our supportive work environment
- Experience in fraud prevention or investigations is advantageous
- Demonstrated attention to detail and deductive reasoning, proven by the ability to find the typo in this job description.
