Job description

Position: Credibility Assessment Examiner 1

Program: CTPSB

Location: Statewide

Salary: $55,875.00/year

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday


Position Summary:

The examiner will be responsible for relevant activities to the preparation and administration of the polygraph or EyeDetect examination. Each examiner will abide by the guidelines set forth by the American Polygraph Association as well as specific policies of this agency in terms of polygraph examinations.

Working within Adult Services, the Credibility Assessment Examiner 1, within the CTPSB/Forensic program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years of related experience as an examiner
  • Valid Connecticut drivers license
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • The Connection Inc. complies with Executive Order 13G. Any employee hired on or after September 27, 2021 must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or apply for a medical or religious exemption and be approved.

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees starting in January will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
