Work Arrangement:
This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View ], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

About the Team:
The newly formed Corporate Strategy Team is charged with challenging the status quo and developing strategies that drive GM’s transformation to achieve the vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion. We partner with senior leadership across all functions and lines of business to develop a coherent Corporate Strategy and execute strategic initiatives that drive value through the core business and propel GM into future market opportunities.
What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Strategy, the (Sr.) Analyst will be responsible for supporting the strategic initiatives of the team and shaping enterprise-wide strategies that allow our stakeholders to drive complex transformational change. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, yet agile, thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of applying data-based decision making.
Support the identification, activation, and execution of strategic projects and serve as resource and thought partner to key stakeholders
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses that yield compelling business insights and actionable recommendations
Collaborate with various GM teams and leverage external resources as needed to obtain data and/or generate insights that provide a deeper understanding of the market and our customers to inform strategy development
Apply data and analytics methodologies to set direction and prove/disprove hypotheses in our strategies
Communicate complex business concepts in a structured and succinct manner that conveys an actionable point of view
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Ability to aggregate, synthesize and communicate business information in formats that are clear and effective for the desired audiences
Ability to translate “data” to a “business story” and effectively derive and communicate any actionable recommendations
Skilled in priority setting and alignment of project priorities with business strategy
Effectiveness in building trust, respect, and cooperation among cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Consistent demonstration and modeling of GM’s winning behaviors
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data & Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline
3+ years’ experience analyzing market, customer, product or similar research or benchmarking data
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Management consulting experience a plus
Corporate strategy experience a plus
Mobility/OEM experience is a plus
Compensation:
The expected base compensation for this role is: $83,800 - $133,900. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
You also need to include general information about potential commissions, if applicable.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
