The Corporate Strategy team leads mission-critical projects to solve the firm’s most challenging strategic questions and drive innovation. We provide a rigorous training ground based on an apprenticeship model and promote a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and impact. Strategy employees have gone on to lead many of the top-priority businesses and products at JPMC.
In addition to working on cutting-edge topics at the frontier of financial services, as a Strategy Analyst, you will help connect the dots across our businesses, ensuring that we bring the best solutions to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Support initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior leaders at the bank
- Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
- Gather, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findings (e.g., financial modeling, valuation)
- Execute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendations
- Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
- Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
- Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and senior executives

- Assessing and planning new market entry or new product development
- Evaluating partnerships and inorganic investments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Diverse problem solving experience from either a premier management consulting firm, an investment banking (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division, or another internal Strategy group
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams
- Interpersonal leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
