EHC is currently looking for a Corporate Recruiter for a client located in the Houston, TX area.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, solution oriented and goal oriented. Must possess exceptional communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process
- Create job descriptions
- Post Requisitions
- Source Prospects
- Review applications and contact applicants
- Conduct phone screens
- Set up face-to-face and virtual interviews
- Extend offer letters
- Conduct pre-employment screening (backgrounds and drug tests)
- Follow up with candidates from start to finish
- Track and measure recruitment KPIs
- Organize hiring events, prepare job fair and or hiring materials
- Participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates
- Work with hiring manager to provide status updates on open requisitions
- Attend job fairs, virtual and in person
- Implement strategies to reduce the time it takes to fill positions
Required Skills:
- Experience with ATS required (Workday, Salesforce, and UltiPro strongly preferred)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 8 - 15 years of Corporate Recruiting Experience
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry required
- Familiarity with full cycle recruitment
- Strong interviewing skills and interviewing techniques
- Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Boolean searches and other job boards
- Full understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- Must have 8+ years of recruiting experience
- High School Diploma Required
