The Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) for Go to Market (GTM) and Corporate Recruiting will manage a global team of recruiters and coordinators, and oversee and execute the GTM and Corporate TA strategy for both the Americas and EMEA. They will play a critical role in helping to establish a culture of operational excellence and supporting the continuous improvement of end-to-end recruitment processes. This role will be based in Austin, TX or London, England with a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance for the GTM & Corporate TA teams in both regions, aligning recruitment initiatives with the organization's goals and growth objectives.
Operational Excellence: Understand the company’s TA and broader hiring processes, identify ways to improve the process and partner to implement changes that improve efficiency/experience. Be knowledgeable about compliance and operational best practices in multiple countries and regions. Build and implement operational efficiencies and practices that drive strong performance across all recruitment related metrics.
Global Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators dispersed across the Americas and EMEA, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture while maintaining a focus on delivering results, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Global Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all organizations and regions.
Recruitment Marketing/Sourcing: Develop, drive and maintain the recruitment marketing plan for the supported organizations. Identify and implement new candidate channels and sourcing methods.
Partnership: Collaborate closely with organizational leaders, executives and People leadership to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and talent requirements to drive effective hiring solutions.
Candidate Experience: Champion an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring seamless communication, timely feedback, and a positive impression of the organization.
Metrics and Reporting: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of recruitment efforts, regularly providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve processes.
Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to proactively adapt strategies and remain competitive in talent acquisition in both regions.
Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with 3rd party partners like LinkedIn, HireRight, Employers of Record (EoRs), job boards, and other relevant partners.
Compliance and Diversity: Be knowledgeable about and ensure alignment with relevant employment and regulatory requirements in both regions, maintaining a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Drive ability to attract diverse applicants.
Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets to maximize recruitment effectiveness and deliver cost-efficient solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of Corporate TA delivery experience preferably in Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing & Corporate functions
5+ years’ experience directly leading a globally distributed team
Demonstrated progressive responsibility over TA Operations (Systems, Process, Metrics/Analytics, Partner Optimization, Recruitment Marketing, Recruiter/Hiring Manager Enablement)
Preferred Qualifications:
Business acumen with in-depth understanding of technology industry dynamics, trends, and talent challenges
Proven ability to motivate, develop, and guide a globally distributed team to achieve results
Analytical mindset and a high comfort level with interpreting data and providing actionable insights
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software (e.g., Workday) is preferred)
Adept at leading change and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; and able to re-prioritize in an effective manner
A highly effective relationship builder, with proven success in managing the interests and demands of multiple stakeholders
Broad experience with regional hiring/employment regulations across Americas and EMEA
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and online applicant tracking systems
Based in Austin, TX or London, England with a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
