Corporate Tax Director – Tax Consultancy

Location: USA – Remote

Salary:  $140K - $160K + bonus

Our client is a small, fast growing, dynamic, and friendly (yes, friendly), Tax Consultancy firm. They are an innovative firm with a unique goal: to help clients succeed in the US market without impacting their core business. They advise companies and founders on cross-border structuring, M&A transactions, tax strategies, and compliance in the US.  They work with US based companies that have international office and international companies establishing a US presence.  Their ultimate goal: to provide expert advice, delivered seamlessly.

As the Corporate Tax Director you will report directly to the Head of Compliance.  You will manage corporate client projects with the Head of Complaince and act as the final review and sign-off of corporate tax returns and forms.  This includes providing information, advice and direction on tax issues, rules and compliance.

You will:

• Review US tax returns prepared and reviewed by Tax Associates and Tax Managers; you are the final eyes and signatures on all documents
• Provide tax compliance services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of client
•  Make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities
• Consult on various tax matters
•  Some international tax compliance

What you bring to my client:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
•  4-7 years of corporate tax experience
• Progressive federal and/or state tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience. 
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance
• Experience with:  1065, M1/M3, payroll tax, annual reports, sales and use tax, multistate and federal tax
• Experience with some international tax (such as GILTI/FDII/IRC 147/BEAT)
