We're looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization. This is a Hybrid role requiring at least in office 2 days a week, and growth within the Accounting Department!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries for expense accruals, prepaid amortization, reclasses, and various adjustments to the general ledger.
Review and post revenue accruals, analyzing against budget.
Manage intercompany transactions, ensuring proper coding and approval for outgoing transactions.
Analyze general ledger activity and reconcile balance sheet accounts regularly.
Perform cash management functions, including reconciling bank accounts, preparing wire transfers, and resolving treasury issues.
Review employee expense reports for accurate GL coding and provide support for expense-related inquiries.
Assist with coding invoices and travel expenses, organize billback support, and research issues.
Collaborate with team members, business managers, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of accounting processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and automation.
Requirements:
Demonstrated employment history showcasing accounting and financial expertise.
Experience with Oracle ERP (preferred).
Proficiency in spreadsheet development, manipulation, and analysis.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for spreadsheet creation and report generation.
