About the Role
Ford Integrated Services Marketing is seeking a Copywriter to join our growing creative team. We are looking for someone with the right combination of conceptual approach, self-motivation, and storytelling abilities necessary to create, sell and execute impactful ideas for our stakeholders. You will be instrumental in the rapid creation and deployment of MarCom execution across a wide range of content deliverables that include traditional, digital, external and internal channels.
In this role you will report to the Sr. Copywriter & Content Strategist and work as part of a close-knit team of Designers, Producers, Marketing Partners, and others to ideate, deliver and execute on clean consistent copy that gets results. You will also focus on ensuring copy is adopted across all touchpoints from product pages, emails, social media, in app messaging, landing pages. You’re experienced working in direct responses & sales copywriting functions, and embrace in-market research & measurement as tools to further optimize Ford storytelling.
This role is able to work remotely in the USA.
Writing portfolio/samples required upon application submission to be considered for this role.
What you'll do…
Ongoing development of new ideas, creative concepts and written solutions across print, digital, social and video disciplines
Work with internal sales and training teams to develop well-written presentations, arming them with the right tools to clearly communicate our brand and product offerings
Ensure all writing adheres to brand tone of voice, and is appropriate for the intended audience
Work with creative directors, copywriters, producers and other team members to flesh out the creative development of ideas and tactical executions
Write video scripts, headlines, product descriptions, website content, social media content, editorial, etc. Write whatever is right for the brand
Edit and proof materials during all project phases
Be a respected creative partner and trusted teammate of your core creative team, internal partners and various agency teams
Deliver creative presentations for concepts and executions to internal and external audiences
Tell your friends you played a key role defining and influencing the future of electrified commercial transportation solutions
You'll have..
Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent
2+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house content team with specific experience in CRM and/or digital software copywriting
Proficient in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Writing portfolio/samples required

Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in technology, interaction, social media and storytelling through content
Ability to listen, internalize and deliver on creative direction from leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in the automotive and/or technology industries (not mandatory)
Ability to prioritize work across engagements based on short and long-term needs
