POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Loader/Greeter, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers are welcomed upon arrival or departure and directed to our greeters and the appropriate transportation provider. That luggage/baggage is successfully loaded and unloaded at the Orlando Airport. You will be the first point of contact for Florida Cruise Ports customers and will require friendly and professional customer service skills. This is an outdoor position based in the Orlando Airport area, and you will be trained in both Greeter and loader responsibilities. This part-time position consists of 8-12 hours weekly from Thursday through Monday, and requires weekend availability. Hours are in the morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Set up of staging area in compliance with company policy.
- Greet high volumes of people in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Direct customers to appropriate pick up locations.
- Communicate with team members, partners, vendors and authorities to assist travelers and resolve issues.
- Load and unload customer’s luggage on and off the busses.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to speak loudly when necessary.
- Excellent work ethic, must be punctual, dependable, dedicated and have a can-do attitude.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Enjoy interacting with people and going the extra mile to assist them with questions and concerns.
- Ability to identify and de-escalate customer situations, problem solve and promote customer satisfaction.
- Confidence in handling a large crowd in a calm, professional demeanor while remaining organized and in control.
- Strength to lift, carry, move, push or otherwise manipulate items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High School diploma
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Cell phone with data plan
- Proficient in the use of modern technology
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Travel/Hospitality experience preferred
- (Regularly) required to briskly walk up to 100-yard lengths
- (Regularly) required to squat, kneel, push, pull and reach above and below shoulder level
- (Regularly) required to bend and twist at the neck and waist
- (Regularly) required to use hands to finger to perform simple grasping
- (Regularly) exposed to an outdoor working environment
- (Regularly) lift up to 50 lbs
- 4 hour shift
