Cook/Dishwasher

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the food industry and culinary arts. Responsibilities: - Assist the cook in preparing meals according to recipes and portion sizes - Wash, peel, and chop ingredients as needed - Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines - Collaborate with the cook to ensure timely meal service - Help with menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements Experience: - Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods - Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation If you are passionate about the culinary arts and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you!
