Controller Position
Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for driving financial success in a dynamic manufacturing company? Our client, a leading industrial supplier of vinyl products and automotive wraps, is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to play a pivotal role during a crucial transitional period.
About the Company: Our client stands at the forefront of the industry as a sole-owner-operated manufacturing enterprise with a significant family presence. Specializing in industrial vinyl products, signs, graphics, and automotive adhesives, the company boasts a robust financial standing, currently estimated at approximately $30 million. Undergoing a strategic transformation, the company is transitioning to a streamlined digital workflow, marking an exciting chapter in its storied history.
Controller Compensation:
- Competitive compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 annually.
Controller Position Details:
- Duration: At least through the end of Q1, with the potential for permanent hire.
- Qualification: Prior experience in mergers/acquisitions will be beneficial.
- Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong ability to compile information, understand internal control policies, and navigate financial systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Shopify/e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or AS400 (HUGE +).
- System integration expertise.
- A few years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
- Previous experience in a startup or large company is an asset.
- Book clean up experience
- Wholesale or distribution experience

Controller Compensation:
- Competitive compensation: $150,000 annually or approximately $73 per hour.
