Controller
Are you a financial whiz with a passion for detail and a drive to contribute beyond the numbers? Are you looking for a role that combines the strategic oversight of a Controller with the hands-on satisfaction of core accounting tasks? We are seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic financial oversight with hands-on involvement in core accounting tasks. You'll be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our company, providing insightful analysis, and ensuring accurate reporting.
Your Role
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including monthly closing procedures and annual reports.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Manage all aspects of corporate borrowing, from analyzing options and negotiating terms to overseeing debt and advising on financial implications.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting cash flow and identifying potential financial risks.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist with administration and analysis of company benefits programs, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Controller role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
