Form of workImplement critical care continuing education programs for North Lake County EMS providers. Assist in the delivery of BLS, EMT, ECRN, and CCT programs.
Requirements include:
- Nursing and/or paramedic license in the state of Illinois. If out of state, must achieve Illinois license within 6 months.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and ITLS/PHTLS provider instructor certifications. If one or more not currently in place, must achieve within one year.
- 5 years EMS experience preferably in an advanced life support level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pre-hospital emergency medical procedures.
- Experience creating curricula and facilitating programs.
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory; practical experience teaching adults preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding track record in customer service.
