Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop and refine the parameters for iPSC expansion, iCD34 differentiation, and iT differentiation for iPSC-derived T cell product manufacturing with the guidance of the hiring manager.
- Perform assessment of cell cultures, maintenance of iPSCs, hematopoietic differentiations, and T cell differentiations.
- Perform characterization of stage-specific process utilizing flow cytometry, gene expressing profiling, and media analysis.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.
- Reagent management and aseptic preparation of reagent stocks including media, cytokines, & small molecules.
- Communication of culture assessments, results, and reagent inventories in a timely manner to relevant team members.
Qualifications
- B.S. / M.S. with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in cell culture techniques.
- Hands-on experience with human ES/iPSC culture is preferred.
- Working knowledge of stem cell biology, immune system and/or developmental hematopoiesis is preferred.
- In-depth experience with multi-color flow cytometry data acquisition and manual analysis using FlowJo, or similar.
- Proficient with office and statistics software, such as Prism.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous record-keeping skills and excellent communication skills are a must.
- Comfortable in adjusting workload based upon adjustment of priorities.
- Prior Process Development experience is a plus.
- Positive outlook, willingness to lean and test new ideas, and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Will require working with cells and cell lines of human and/or animal origin.
- Will require working with hazardous materials.
- Occasional weekend work will be required.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
