In this role, you’ll take the lead in developing Constantiam’s Functional Genomics platforms. This will entail designing, executing, and analyzing the results of massively-multiplexed cellular assays. Other responsibilities will include contributing to writing grants and investment materials to support Constantiam’s Functional Genomics research and development. Ultimately you will be responsible for building out a team to drive forward the development of our genomics platform technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop novel ideas for the direction of our genomics research and product/platform development
- Contribute to writing grants and investment materials to support proof-of-principle and commercialization of Functional Genomics projects
- Analyze and interpret existing data from high-throughput cellular assays
- Take the lead in setting up Constantiam's wet lab, initially executing proof-of-concept experiments and ultimately building out an experimental team
- Work with the rest of the development team to build an integrated database and suite of applications that meet the needs of Constantiam’s customers
Minimum qualifications:
- MS in a quantitative or biological field (science, math, engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years experience working with genomic data, including the ability to analyze and interpret large-scale experimental datasets and databases
- 5+ years experience designing, executing, and analyzing high-throughput biological experiments
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in a quantitative or biological field
- Expertise in statistical modeling of biological data
- Experience designing strategies for gene editing with CRISPR-based tools
- Proficient in the use of Python and command line tools for analysis of genomic data
- Experience with drug discovery and development applications of genomics
- Prior industry experience in genomics product development
Salary
$80,000 - $180,000 per year
