Contract Remote Upper Elementary Level Math Teacher (4-6Th Grade)

Early Elementary Math Teacher

We are looking for engaging and fun teachers to work with our Upper Elementary students. These teachers will be responsible for teaching our students who are in grades 4th-6th and be able to go over some of the more complex math with them. The topics will include but are not limited to: multi-digit operations, fractions, and decimals. The lessons are provided and will use different methods of instruction including Singapore math.

Who are we looking for?

• Someone who shows expertise in their field and can teach it to students in the Upper Elementary levels.
• The teacher will need to be engaging and comfortable working with young children.
• Please, do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions. We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates. It is essential to pass a background check.
• Must read and answer texts and emails right away.
• The ideal candidate will understand the concept of time zone difference and work with it daily and comfortably.
• All questions in the pre-screening will need to be answered to be considered.

What would make you stand out from the crowd?

• A bachelor’s degree in elementary education, k-12 math instruction, or a related field.
• US work authorization only
• Teaching experience (including homeschooling, teaching pre-k or preschool, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, and other experiences) is preferred.
• Teaching certification is preferred.

• Our base salary is 15 dollars an hour for the first three months. After the first three months, teachers will be evaluated to see if they are eligible to go on to tier 2 teaching which qualifies them for multiple types of bonuses.
