Contract Analyst

This role is a hybrid schedule requiring the person to be in the Bannockburn office 3 days a week. 

We are looking for a proactive individual that possesses a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to join Stericycle's Legal Department. The Contracts Analyst will report to the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and will perform the day-to-day contracting activities that support our commercial attorneys and businesses in North America.  In this role, you will participate in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase and/or sale of equipment, materials, products and services. This includes reviewing agreements to confirm compliance with our playbooks and delegation of authority, advising others on contractual rights and obligations, and assisting with contract amendments.  

• Coordinate and prioritize workflow for in-house commercial attorneys, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assist in the review and analysis of contracts, ensuring they align with legal and business objectives.
• Work closely with business partners to ensure adherence to policies and playbooks developed by the legal department.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the contracts management function and collaborate with the legal team to implement changes.
• Develop and maintain metrics and reporting systems to track contract workflow, status, and performance.
   

• Education equivalent to Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in Accounting/Finance, or Business or the equivalent in related work experience.
• Three or more years of contracts experience.
• Demonstrates strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and problem-solving skills.  
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with improving efficiencies and effectiveness of established processes an asset.
• Strong computer skills required.  Requires expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Power Point.
