Position Description
Under constant supervision, the Centralized Scheduling Specialist (CSS) will adhere to physician/departmental scheduling protocols to correctly and accurately schedule patients for appointments that best fit the patient's schedule, in coordination with availability of providers and other resources. The Centralized Scheduling Specialist must accurately handle high volumes of calls and workload. This essential position requires attendance during inclement weather.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. Skills required: Customer service. Basic computer. MS Office
Preferred Requirements
Two to four year college degree preferred. 2 years or more of experience in medical office/healthcare or Revenue Cycle. Multi or Bi-Lingual. Medical terminology
