The perfect person will be a holistic thinker, able to drive projects across the entire user journey from top-of-funnel ads and landing pages to in-app UX copy and erotic stories. You have experience working in startups in cross-functional squads and you might have been a Senior Content Designer, Head of Copywriting, Marketing Lead, or Creative Director. What’s important is that you’re an extremely talented and versatile writer, able to think strategically as a leader but with such passion for your craft that you feel the urge to get your hands dirty and execute as an individual contributor, too. You thrive in a more hands-on player-coach type role.

The Role
You’ll work closely with the founders, report to our CEO, and take ownership of content across the business.
We are an app-first experience and a totally digital offering. Your content is our value proposition, meaning your work will define the success of the business. When we say content-first design, we mean content-first design.
As we are an early-stage start-up, there is room for you to have a huge impact on the future of the company and a large amount of autonomy to shape your role and get stuck in. You should be comfortable adapting your role and responsibilities as the company grows. We expect this might consist of these opportunities:
- Lead content strategy by partnering with stakeholders to execute content creation across the user journey
- Collaborate with our Product Designers and Science Lead to continue the iteration and expansion of our exercise and learning experiences
- Own the communication strategy across the whole user journey, including CRM and push notifications, running experiments to optimise their impact
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce content, including ads, landing pages, and acquisition flows
- Own the SEO article workstream, liaising with an SEO agency
- Lead strategic projects, like launching our first erotic stories in the app
- Identify opportunities and lead production of new in-app content with our product team, such as new fly-on-the-wall therapy podcast series or meditations
- Run user research to develop our Tone and Voice (TaV) and share your learnings with the business
- Lead a brand-alignment project, working with our content writer to upgrade all content in the Mojo ecosystem
- Hire, manage, and mentor other content writers to hit business goals
- Train anyone who is writing for Mojo on the TaV
- Drive efficiency in our content production by adopting innovative tools, processes, or AI technology

Requirements
You have:
- 5+ years of experience producing creative digital content
- A desire to be a hands-on individual contributor, producing multimedia content to create value and push boundaries
- An ability to write in flawless American English (from professional or life experience)
- Proven track record of building and working with distinct TaVs
- Experience building acquisition experiences, like landing pages and onboarding flows
- Experience building in-app experiences, like user flows and navigational content
- Compassion, empathy, understanding, or interest in mental health
- Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and trends
